Exaggerated exposition to sunlight causes skin cancer- Physician

Luanda – The National Oncology Centre records every month between 40 and 50 cases of skin cancer, informed on Monday to ANGOP the physician António Tavares.

According to the specialist skin cancer is caused by exaggerated exposition to sunlight without any protection, which also brings about other situations such as burns, early aging of the skin and changes in the immunologic system.

The source explained that this type of cancer is also caused by genetic and environmental factors, such as the destruction of the ozone layer, so when it is detected it must treated immediately.

The physician added that skin cancer is the most common one, although it grows slowly.
