Women urged to use condoms to prevent HIV contamination

Luanda - The representative of Health Ministry, Maria Antonio, called on Sunday in Luanda for women to use condoms while making sexual intercourse so as to prevent the propagation of HIV/AIDS and make voluntary testing to learn about their serological state.

 
The official said so while addressing the workshop on “The Social Responsibility of the Church, fight against AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases”, which was promoted by the Evangelical Reformed Church in Angola (IERA), aimed to empower women in rural area.

 
She called for reflection on the cares, way of contamination and prevention against HIV/AIDS.

 
The workshop, held at the IERA premises, was attended by reverends and pastors from other churches and representatives of the Ministries of Health, Family and Women Promotion.
