Four children win heart surgery in Israel

Luanda – Four children will leave for Tel Aviv on Monday for heart surgeries under the Israel-based international humanitarian Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) project.

According to a note that reached Angop on Sunday, the initiative is part of an agreement signed between the LR group and the SACH, together with the Luanda David Bernardino paediatric hospital that operates with Israeli physicians and is responsible for diagnose and
selection of the children for the treatment.

The source says that David Bernardino hospital received a team of Israeli physicians this month to conduct tests on children eligible for surgery in Israel.

This, according to the note, permits an exchange of skills between Israeli and Angolan physicians on paediatric medicine.

A total of 63 Angolan children suffering from cardiac insufficiencies have received a surgery in Israel under the SACH.
