Techno-scientific events for over 100 nurses

Lubango – At least 160 nurses will attend the first techno-scientific events on health from September 15-16 in Lubango, southern Huila province.

 

According to the coordinator of Angolan National Nurses Association Inspection Department (ANEA), Martinho Angelina, the event will also tackle issues related to humanisation of health services (ANEA).


 
Speaking to Angop, Martinho Angelina said the event aimed at improving assistance to patients and will go under the motto “Health investigation and research for the betterment of medical, medicine and humanised assistance to patients.”

 

The event that will be run by António Agostinho Neto Central Hospital, will also focus on “humanisation of health services”, “alcoholism”, “ malaria”, “Hiv/Aids”, “cardiovascular accident”, “diabetes” and others.

 

During two days, the participants will reflect on assistance to external and internal patients of Lubango hospital patients, regarding medical, medicinal and humanised care, including a survey with the population who seek for the said hospital’s services.

 

According to the source, the meeting has been designed for employees of the Central Hospital, Technical and Professional Health Training School (ETPS), Congregational Evangelic Church in Angola (IECA), Medicine Faculty and others.

 

These are the first such events to be held in Lubango.
