Italy helps studying cases of congenital malformation in Cunene


  
Ondjiva - Italian ambassador, Josefe Mistreia, promissed Friday in Ondjiva, Cunene capital, making efforts for the organization of scientific studies aimed at identifying causes of congenital malformation in families from this Southern province of the country.

 

The diplomat made this consideration after visiting a family in Mufitunene, surroundings of Ondjiva.

 

He said that it will be done through analyses and scientific studies, aimed at avoiding future generations from contracting this illness.

 

Josefe Mistreia stressed that the research will be financed by the Italian NGO CUAMM that have specialized technicians that collect blood samples and others.
