Namacunde
Cunene traditional midwives to be upgraded

Namacunde – At least 130 traditional midwives from Namacunde district, southern Cunene province, will receive as from October this year  a professional training to improve their skills, Angop learned from a  local source.

 

According to the head of the local health department, João Silva, the programme  will cover midwives from urban and rural areas of the two localities of the district.

 

He added that after the training set to last seven days, the traditional midwives will receive working equipment free of charge.
