March against road accidents marks traditional medicine

Huambo – Over one hundred people, among traditional doctors and faithful of Divine Cure Apostolic Church, held Tuesday, in Huambo city, a march to raise awareness on road accidents.

This act was organised under the celebration of the African traditional medicine day, commemorated this August 31, with the motto "Decade of African Traditional Medicine".

This march ran through some zones of the city, mainly on the sites that lately witnessed car accidents with the objective to pay homage to dead people’s memory.

At the end of the march, traditional doctor Vitorino Luís said that the event aimed to call road user’s attention in order to reduce speedy driving on the public roads.
