Huambo
Health institute trains over 900 nurses

 Huambo – At least 969 nurses received training in various areas of expertise from 2003 to the first semester of 2010 in Huambo province Health Institute, Angop learnt from the institution director, Castro Chinhundo Chiumbo.

 

Speaking to Angop, the director stated that the nurses received training in general nursing and assistance, clinical analysis, as well as radiology.

 

Castro Chinhundo Chiumbo announced that his institution expects to implement courses of speciality in areas of midwifery, intensive cares, anaesthesiology, for nurses with basic training.

 

The courses will last one year and six months.
