Health experts attend seminar on epidemiological emergency


Namibe – Over 30 health technicians in the province of Namibe participate from 01 to 06 March at a training seminar for municipal emergency teams, with the aim of preventing epidemics such as cholera, acute diarrhoeic and rabies diseases.

 

 
At the opening ceremony of the meeting, the provincial director of the health sector in the province, Franco Mufinda said that all organizations needed qualified professionals to achieve their goals.

 


The event aims to enable the ability of the health professionals in the assessment of vulnerability of populations in emergency situations, knowing the type of risk in their area, uniformity of reaction to emergencies, with emphasis on the cholera, the importance of an integrated surveillance in rapid answer to epidemics.
