Over 500 people attend nephrology campaign

 
Luanda – Over 500 people attended nephrology consultation in Luanda's Viana district, under a project of the Health Ministry, aiming at informing the situation of the kidney illness, Angop has learnt.

 


The head of Nephrology services in Josina Machel hospital, Alvaro Malega, said the campaign started on Friday, at Ana Paula dos Santos health centre, and until its end, scheduled for this week, other 500 people will be consulted.

 


"Kidney illness is a serious problem therefore people should be aware of the need of changing behaviour so that they can face with serenity the kidney illness that affects any people", said the expert.

 


The physician said it is important to avoid the excess use of salt, stress, as well as obesity.
