Over 4000 animals get vaccinated against rabies in Namibe

 

 

Namibe – At least 4.141 animals were vaccinated by the veterinary services of the south-west Namibe Province from January 19 to March 15, in the framework of the nationwide campaign against rabies, which is happening since the beginning of 2010.

 


According to the local head of veterinary services, Sambo Daniel Sambo, the professionals involved in this campaign vaccinated over 3000 animals in Namibe District and 1.141 pets were immunised in the districts of Tômbwa, Bibala, Kamucuio and Virei.

 


Sambo Daniel Sambo also said that it was not recorded any other case of rabies until now and the works are happening without any constraints.
