Medical profession is subject to permanent changes - OMA chairperson

 

 

Luanda - The chairperson of Doctors Association of Angola (OMA), Carlos Alberto Pinto de Sousa said Thursday in Luanda that the medical profession is subject to permanent, but necessary changes, with view to meet a rigorous clinical practice and improvements in the profession.
 

According to the chairman, who was speaking at the opening of the VI International Congress in Angola, this requires a positive development that must be taken up by all physicians for an internal evaluation on the quality, use of resources and the service provided to the patient.


The official called for the need to share ideas, examine common problems and exchange experiences.


The congress, which is scheduled to end on Friday, will discuss issues such as "pressure ulcers" and "Indicators of Health Services of Malange.
