Bié main hospital faces blood shortage

Kuito - The main hospital of Central Bié Province is in need of blood, as it is facing difficulties to attend blood transfusion cases, causing thus many deaths, on Friday announced the head of the sector, Felizarda Chilombo Bondo, Angop has learnt.

Most of the victims are children, added the source.

The blood donated by relatives has not been enough for the total coverage of patients, she said, calling on students, religious entities and the civil society to donate blood.
