Veterinarian services plan to vaccinate 6,000 animals


Luena – At least 6,000 animals among dogs, cats and monkeys will be vaccinated against rabies by veterinarian services in four municipalities of Moxico in the ambit of the campaign opened on Wednesday in the eastern region of the country.


Speaking to Angop, the chief of veterinarian services, Salvador Gaieta Almeida said that his department has about 7,000 kits of vaccination.


The first phase will take 15 days in the municipalities of Luchazes, Luau and Bundas.


The campaign was opened in the commune of Cassemba 275 kilometres off Luena municipality.
