Official admits approval of kidney transplant law

Saurimo – Angolan Health minister, José Van-Dúnem, Friday in northeastern Lunda Sul province announced the approval soon of a law on transplant of kidney, Angop learnt.

 

Speaking to the press, before his return to Luanda, he said that National Assembly is already sensitised for the purpose, adding he believes in the possibility of the law to be approved soon.

 

"There is need for a legislation for the matters of organs, transplant, ethics and moral database. It has been regulating and I hope it comes soon", said minister José Van-Dúnem, that chaired in Saurimo, the celebrations of the Kidney International Day, March 11.
