Health minister speaks on kidney transplant law

Saurimo – Angola's minister of Health, José Van-Dúnem, on Friday here said the approval of a bill on kidney transplantation may happen soon, but did not point out a date, Angop has learnt.

Speaking to press, before his return to Luanda, he said that national assembly is already sensitised for this purpose, therefore he believes in the possibility of the law be a fact in a short time.

"It is necessary to have a legislation for the matters of organs transplant ethics and moral database. It has been regulating and I hope it will come into force soon", said the Minister José Van-Dúnem, who chaired in Saurimo, the commemorations of the International Kidney Day, March 11.
