Health minister announces expansion of haemodialysis services

Saurimo - Angola's Health minister, José Van-Dúnem, on Thursday here announced the expansion soon of haemodialysis services to the provinces of Cabinda, Huila, Benguela and Huambo, Angop has learnt.


The minister explained that these provinces have hospitals with well structured intensive care and surgery services wards, becoming thus easier to find a vascular surgeon, as nephrology services are one of the valences of haemodyalisis.


"These are the reasons that make us to choose initially these provinces, afterwards, progressively, we will go to others", he said.
