Essential Medicines Programme distributes over 200 kits

Namibe – The Programme of Essential Medicines in Namibe distributed in 2009, over 278 several kits of medicines to 75 different health units in the whole province.

 
This information was given Monday to ANGOP by the provincial supervisor of the programme, Pedro Ndala, emphasizing that currently the supply can cover all health network of the province, within six months.

 
The official stated that over the past year the programme received from the provincial department of health at least 500 different kits and 230 of the National Programme, especially drugs such as paracetamol, aspirin, penicillin, among other anti-malaria drugs.
