Health sector gains new infrastructures in Cangandala locality

Cangandala, – A medical post, a residential complex for physicians and a mortuary will be inaugurated next Thursday, in Cangandala District, in the northern Malanje Province, in the ambit of the celebrations of the 49th anniversary of the beginning of the armed
struggle for national liberation, to be marked on 4 February.


 
Speaking to ANGOP, on the fringes of the 4 February activities, the administrator of  Cangandala District, Joaquim António Marta, said that these infrastructures will contribute to the improvement of health services in the region, as well as change the image of this locality.


 
The residential complex will be destined to accommodate physicians who live in Cangandanla District and it comprises 5 flats with two bedrooms each, a living room, a kitchen and other  rooms.


 
The mortuary is very well equipped with high technology equipment and it has the capacity to conserve six dead bodies.


 
The construction of the medical post was financed by the Social Support Fund (FAS) and it  was equipped by the provincial health department.
