Kigali– The regional Africa director of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Luís Gomes Sambo, presented Tuesday, in Kigali, Rwanda, at the 59th session of the organization, a nine-point guide to rule how African countries can increase implementing control actions against malaria, in order to overcome this sickness.

The guide is part of a report that Luís Sambo presented this Tuesday, at the 59th session of WHO Regional Committee opened last Monday by Rwanda’s president, Paul Kagame.

The methods include reinforcement of the national malaria control programmes, management and acquiring systems of medicines supplies and increasing key actions for universal coverage.

Other methods consist of updating policies and strategic plans against malaria, strengthening conquests, to reinforce research, control, among others, overcoming this as soon as it becomes possible.
