Seminar on epidemiological surveillance in Kwanza Sul starts

 

Sumbe- A three-day seminar on epidemiological surveillance is taking place since Tuesday in Sumbe district, the capital of the central Kwanza-Sul province, intended to upgrade veterinary staff on prevention and treatment of rabies and N1H1 flu, Angop learned.

 


Participants are 20 people from Luanda, Benguela and Kwanza Sul who are tackling such topics as necropsy, sample collecting, identification and maintenance for laboratory and  bio-security measures.

 


At the opening ceremony, the provincial director of Agriculture, Afonso Mário, spoke of the importance of the fight against the epidemics, mainly seeking people’s well being.
