Over 2000 patients get first aid in Bié province


Kunhinga – At least 2,572 patients suffering from various diseases were assisted in the first aid wards of Kunhinga district hospital, central Bie province, over the last three months.


Speaking to Angop, the head of Kunhinga Health Department, Custódio Chimalengue, said the hospital assisted people with brain contusions, malaria, respiratory infections, alcoholic drinks intoxication and others.


Regarding medicines, the official said that the provincial Health Department has been regularly supplied with drugs, which contributes to the success of the activities.
