Kwanza Sul district hospital gains X-ray services

 

Cela - The district hospital of Cela, central Kwanza Sul province, is now Providing X-ray services, following a donation by the local government of equipment for the purpose, as part of a programme to provide local hospital with adequate facilities.

 

Speaking to Angop, the hospital director, Isaías Soares, said that with this machine it will be possible to provide radio-diagnoses services and tests of bone fractures, tumours, calcifications and various other types of pathologies.

 

He mentioned that in the past patients were sent out to hospitals in Huambo province  and Sumbe (Kwanza Sul), which will change with the opening of this new services.

 

The Cela hospital has the capacity fro 150 patients.
