Namibe - At least USD 1.3 million is the amount earmarked for the rehabilitation works and equipping of the provincial court of south-western Namibe province, re-inaugurated Thursday by the Justice minister, Guilhermina Prata.
The works were in charge of the building firm "MSS-Construtora", in the light of the modernisation programme of the Justice Ministry, underway in the country.
The facilities comprise rooms for common pleas, offices to accommodate judges, lawyers, the provincial prosecutor of the republic and the presiding judge and an audience hall as well as other attached rooms for its proper functioning.
Guilhermina Prata has handed over after the inauguration ceremony, books for the judicial organs, a vehicle to assist the courts, eight computers and three printers.
