Luanda - Angolan government on Wednesday approved, for future adhesion, the statute of the association of Ombudsmen and Mediators of Africa, ANGOP has learnt.
A communiqué states that the mentioned association has the goal of promoting human rights respect, transparency and equity of administrative acts, as well as to aid the autonomy and independence of mediation institutions.
On the same day, the Cabinet also passed the accord of commercial, economic and technical co-operation signed between Angola and Turkey, meant to reinforce the existing bilateral ties.
The Cabinet was also informed about the actions to be carried out towards the promotion of development programme of rural commerce and the preparations for Angola's participation in the 12th ordinary session of the conference of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
The Cabinet passed the Financial Programme of the Treasury for the first quarter of 2009, which reflects an adjustment to the crude oil price, however ensuring the execution of compulsory expenses, as well as the contract for the supply of communication equipment to the Armed Forces, between Simportex and adissa/Thales Communications.
