Germany and Angola keen to strenghten coopertion

Luanda - Angola and Germany share the willingness to strenghten bilateral relations, the german ambassador, Bernd Morast, told the press today at the end of a meeting with external relations minister, Assunção dos Anjos.    


Ambassador Morast said to have discussed with the minister the arrangements for the forthcoming visit of  president Jose Eduardo dos Santos to Germany, scheduled for the end of february, and rejoiced to hear from the angolan top diplomat that his country is keen to strenghten relations with Germany.


He stressed the importance for his country to strenghten bilateral relations with Angola, a nation he regarged as a factor for regional stabilization due to its economic potential, two factors highly considered by german officials.  


According to mr Morast, the angolan head of state is expected to see his german counterpart, Horst Kohler, and chancelor Angela Merkel
