Luanda – The secretary general of the ruling MPLA party, Julião Mateus Paulo “Dino Matrosse”, Wednesday left for Johannesburg, South Africa, to attend between 7 and 8 March the meeting of some parties that led the national liberation movement, at the level of Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).
Speaking to Angop, at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, the MPLA official said that at the routine meeting the officials of parties that led the national liberation struggle in Angola (MPLA), South Africa (ANC), Namibia (SWAPO), Mozambique (FRELIMO), Tanzania (MCC and Chama Cha Mapinduzi) and in Zimbabwe (ZANU-PF) will discuss internal issues of their parties.
According to Dino Matrosse, who is representing the president of MPLA, José Eduardo dos Santos, the event is preceded by others of the female and youth organisations of the parties and is intended to prepare for the meeting of the leaders of the parties on 8 March.
