Luanda – The Managing Board of the Truck Drivers and Machinery Operators Association of Angola (ACOMA) congratulated MPLA and its head of list José Eduardo dos Santos on his victory in the August 31 general elections.
In a press note released to Angop on Wednesday in Luanda, ACOMA is convinced that the government of MPLA, to rule the country in next five years, will do its best in order to comply with that party’s governance programme, mainly in issues related to the sectors of transport, in particular of roads.
The document reads that the last elections were conducted in a atmosphere of fully tranquility, civility, patriotism and respect for difference.
MPLA won the general elections of 2012 with 4.135.503 votes (71,84 per cent), and thus winning 175 seats in the next parliament.
