SME records increased migratory movement

Ondjiva - The Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) in southern Cunene province has reported in the last seven days, 6,825 migratory movements, which include entry and exit of national and foreign citiuzens, in the border posts of Santa Clara, Calueque and Ruacana, over 586 compared to the same period last year.

 
The informationis expressed in the weekly report of the SME sent Wednesday to ANGOP.


According to the source, the migratory movement also include 3,522 nationals and 3,303 foreign citizens who used the passport, safe-conduct and crossing-passes in a distance of 60 kilometers beyond the border.

 
"Among the foreigners included Namibians, South Africans, Portuguese, Zimbabweans, Mozambicans, Chinese, French, Cubans, Brazilians, Cape Verdean, Danish and Spanish.
