Lisbon –The new Executive Secretary of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP), the Mozambican Murade Isaac Murargy praised the figure of the first Angolan President Agostinho Neto, stating that he represented a lot for the liberation of almost all African countries. "
The CPLP official said so Tuesday in Lisbon, Portugal, at the release ceremony of the book on Neto, based on the files of the then Portuguese colonial secret police, PIDE-DGS.
"It was a pleasant surprise to honour a great hero for all CPLP countries", said Isaac Murargy on the first day of the functions at the helm of the Portuguese Speaking organisation.
In his speech, Isaac Murargy considered that the work entitled "Agostinho Neto e a Luta de Libertação de Angola, 1949-1974, Arquivo PIDE-DGS," will allow reflection and approach, through the culture.
