Bar Association promotes free juridical consultations campaign

Luanda - The provincial council of the Bar Association of Angola (OAA) is promoting this Saturday at the Independence Square, in Luanda, a campaign of free juridical  consultations for citizens, in the ambit of the institution’s social role.

 

According to the chairwoman of the provincial council of the Bar Association, Mariza Sequeira, the turnout of the citizens has
been good, adding that 20 people participated in the first 15 minutes.

 

She informed that the campaign, which runs within the activities of the “Lawyers Week”, which is scheduled to finish at 01 pm this Saturday, relies on the voluntary participation of about 15 lawyers.

 

She explained that on their arrival, the citizens are directed to a table, with a priority queue for pregnant women or carrying babies, as well as elderly and disabled persons.
