Menongue – The deputy secretary of the ruling MPLA party in south-eastern Kuando Kubango province, João António Lineya, said Monday here that the victory of his party in the general election of August 31 resulted from the sympathy of the masses of militants and implementation of socio-economic programmes.

According to the official who was reacting to the victory of MPLA and its presidential candidate, José Eduardo dos Santos, he said his party has and will continue to show maturity and experience in its governing plan.

“MPLA won well, as a result of its governance plan for the coming five years, covering all sensibilities of the country,” the politician stressed.

João António Lineya pledged that the party’s governance plan will be accomplished for the continued improvement of the living of the people of Angola.
