MPLA calls on militants to start preparing for 2017 elections

Ndalatando- The first secretary of the ruling MPLA party in the northern Kwanza Norte province, Henrique André Júnior, Saturday urged
 the militants, friends and sympathizers to start working on the electoral victory of his party in general elections of 2017.

 

 “The actions for 2017 polls should start right now, by working with people and for people”, said Henrique André Júnior, whop is also provincial governor.

 

The MPLA official made the appeal at the socialisation ceremony that gathered over 300 people in Lucala district, Kwanza Norte province.

 

The event aimed at celebrating the electoral victory of the ruling MPLA, in the general elections of 31 August, 2012.

 

According to the National Electoral Commission (CNE) data on elections of  August 31,  the ruling  MPLA won 4,135,503 out of the 5, 756,004 votes.

 

With this result the winning party (MPLA) holds  175, of the  220 seats at National Assembly (Parliament).
