Ruling party set to win elections - SG

Cabinda –The ruling  MPLA party  will win the general elections on August 31 this year in order to develop  Angola, said Saturday  the party’s secretary general , Julião Mateus Paulo "Dino Matross".

Addressing a  political rally held in Belize district, northern Cabinda province,,as part of the election campaign, Dino Matross guaranteed that  as in previous elections his party will win this election, asking, however, the local residents to vote en mass.

He stressed that the projections for the development of Angola should not only be restricted to the big cities, but also must reach the villages.

According to him,  this is what the MPLA government is doing from Cabinda (north) to Cunene (south).

As example, the official pointed out the major deeds  of the government, especially since the achievement of   peace in 2002, with emphasis on the improvement of drinking water and electricity supply, expansion of the health network and school education.

Dino Matross said that Angola needs of the MPLA, the only one capable of ensuring the development and welfare of the people.
