Prosecutor urges media organs to abide by impartiality

Ndalatando - The provincial prosecutor of the northern province of Kwanza Norte, Domingos Joaquim, Wednesday urged the professinals from local Media organs to abide by the exemption and impartiality during the covering process of campaign of the political parties contesting the elections.

The prosecutor said this during a lecture marking the electoral legal education programme of the provincial Prosecutor's Office aimed at awakening the legal conscience of citizens and other electoral clerks.

Speaking to the press, Domingos Joaquim defended the need of the journalists to continue improving their techniques and editorial norms mainly on the timely divulging of news, always sticking to the exemption and impartiality.

The magistrate stressed the need to make use of the methods required in collecting and processing of data and consequent standardisation of the facts that determine the rule of journalist reality.
