MPLA official reaffirms commitment to improving people living standards

Cabinda – The member of the Political Bureau of the ruling MPLA, Aldina Matilde da Lomba, reaffirmed Wednesday, at the location of Mbaca (Povo Grande) during a rally, that the government will continue its commitment to improving the living conditions of populations.


The head of the list of MPLA provincial constituency of Cabinda added that such a bet includes the setting up in that location, of a centre of production of electricity with a capacity of 30 megawatts, to supply the areas of Great People and Yema (south of Cabinda).


Concerning the drinking water, Aldina da Lomba said that due to reduced river flow where the liquid was previously captured in the locality of Ngoyo, the situation will be overcome with the installation of a borehole made in the village of Santa Catarina.


She also stressed that it is the aim of MPLA to build schools, hospitals, improve the systems of production and distribution of drinking water, electricity and access roads to ensure free movement of people and goods.
