Huambo– The new Court's presiding judge of the central Huambo province, Pedro Nazaré Pascoal, was introduced Friday during a ceremony presided over by the Supreme Court chief, Cristiano Augusto André.
Pedro Nazaré Pascoal, who was appointed during a plenary extraordinary session held on 28 July, 2012, by the High Council of Judicial Magistrate, is taking over from José Chingongo appointed in 1992, over health issue.
The new presiding judge pledged to work on keeping cooperation relationship and interdependence with government.
In his turn, the governor of central Huambo province, Fernando Faustino Muteka, said that the steps taken by the government of Angola in the arduous mission, growth and development, requires great effort by the justice sector in order to respond to all issues, especially, the lack of development of some activities.
