Elections body starts training of trainers

 

Luanda - The National Electoral Commission (CNE) began on Tuesday in Luanda the training of 36 national trainers, a process that will cover thousands of members who will work at the tables of polling stations on 31 August this year.


The four-day training aims at preparing the participants for technical and practical knowledge, linked to the organisation and operation of polling stations.


The process will provide them with tools that allow them to direct the training of provincial and municipal trainers in a clear and practical ways.


During the opening ceremony of the action, which took place at “Talatona” Convention Centre in Luanda, the CNE member, Lucas Quilundo, said that following this action, the country will have a population of 3,278 trainers.


During the event, the participants will discuss the preliminary operation related to elections equipment, voting, tabulation of election results, among others.
