Angola
Attorney general office may request for extradition

Luanda – The Country’s Attorneys General Office, as part of the organic law, might have the competence to request extradition of Angolan accused citizens of crime abroad.

This is one of the innovations introduced in the document, which was already approved by the National Assembly, and now is receiving contributions to the improvement of contents and standards in commissions of speciality.

The competence for requesting extradition of Angolan suspected criminals  is currently attributed to the Ministry of Justice.

The proposal aims at speeding up the referred requests of extraditions.
