Armed Forces chief praises Angolan Navy

Luanda - The Chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), gen. Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, has said that the effectives of the Angolan Navy have accomplished difficult missions.

 


The official states this on a congratulations message he addressed to the mentioned branch of the FAA, in the ambit of the commemorations of the 36th anniversary of the Angolan Navy (MGA) to be marked on July 10.

 


The officer-general said that the Angolan Navy has contributed a lot to the defence and maintenance of national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

 


General Nunda also said that the Navy has mobilised synergies for the protection of economic sea and river resources, against all attempts of sabotage.
