Angolan Ombudsman attends 19th African Union assembly

Luanda – The Angolan Ombudsman, Paulo Tjipilica, left this Tuesday for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to attend the 19th African Union General Assembly, set for 15-16 July, at the invitation of the organization chairperson, Jean Ping.

 

According to a press release from the Ombudsman sent to Angop in Luanda, Paulo Tjipilica, who is also chairperson of African Ombudsman Association, will participate in the 21st session of African Union executive committee on 12-13 July.

 

Angola recently organized a meeting between the African Union and the Association of  Ombudsmen and mediators or Africans Ombudsmen (AOMA), on 20-25 June in 2012.
