Luanda - The electoral programme of the governing MPLA party guarantees victory in the forthcoming election set for 31 August, for favouring the continued socio-economic growth of the country, especially the fight against hunger and poverty.
This information was given recently to the press by the secretary of the MPLA Politburo for Political and Electoral Affairs, João de Almeida Martins, stating that, for this reason, the party is certain and clear in its victory and wants to win so clear and transparent.
He said that the ruling party "is a very active force capable of odd mobilization and does not need to do any type of game as it has been ventilated by other political forces to win the election."
"We also want to demonstrate that this victory is the result of a participatory appeal and a relationship of empathy and complicity that it has with the Angolan people and all sections of society," he said.
According to the politician, at the meeting of the MPLA Central Committee, which approved the candidacy of President Jose Eduardo dos Santos, also approved the party’s proposal for the whole society, which provides a programmatic vision aimed at improving the living
standards of the population.
The politician said the program aims at developing the country, focusing on building more schools, hospitals, roads, industries, among other infrastructure.
"The ruling MPLA programme aims to reach all sections of society, objectify also creation of more jobs," he asserted.
