South Africa Ombudswoman attends meeting in Luanda

Luanda - South Africa's Ombudswoman, Thulise Madonsela, is in Angola to participate in the meeting of the African Ombudsman and Mediators Association (AOMA), taking place in Luanda, Angop has learnt.

 

During her arrival at the Luanda "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, the South African official, who was welcomed by the Angolan Vice Ombudsman, Maria da Conceição Sango, said that the holding of this meeting in Angola is very important both for the organization and AU itself, having into account the matters to be discussed in the event.
 

The event will analyse issues related to good governance, mediation of conflicts, elections observation, defence and guarantee of citizens’ rights.
