Luanda – The MPs with the National Assembly will on Tuesday be gathered in their 10th Ordinary Plenary Session of the 4th Legislative session of the 2nd Legislature, among other issues, to hold the inauguration ceremony of the new chairman of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), André da Silva Neto.
According to a press note from the Angolan parliament, which reached Angop this Sunday, the MPs will also analyse and vote the resolution project that approves the members of the Municipal Electoral Comission of Cambambe, Ambaca and Bolongongo districts (Kwanza Norte), Chitembo, Chinguar and Nhareia localities (Bié), all appointed by the opposition UNITA party.
In the previous session held on 22 May in 2012, among other diplomas, the MPs discussed the election of the counsellor judge of the Constitutional Court, Maria Terezinha, the resolution project that clarifies doubts and omissions raising interpretation and enforcement of the Organic Law on General Elections.
