International Seminar
International military law seminar delegations start leaving

Luanda - The delegations of Brazil, Nigeria, Zambia and Congo Brazzaville that attended the International Seminar on Military Penal Law and the 6th Session of the International Association of Military Justice left Luanda on Saturday back to their respective countries.


Speaking at the closing of the event on Friday, the Angolan Defence minister, Cândido Van-Dúnem, said the normal process of democratisation of Angola, the consolidation of peace and building of a market economy fully justifies the creation of an effective system of justice capable of responding to the country’s development challenges.


According to minister Van-Dunem, this system of justice must help the public stability and strengthening of the credibility of the institutions of the Angolan State.


He said that in terms of the process of reforms of justice and law in progress in the country, some bills are on the pipeline.


The seminar was attended by about 150 delegates, 60 of whom foreigners. 16 came from different continents.
