Lisbon - Angola is chairing the meeting of ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP) on Saturday focussing on the political crisis in Guinea Bissau.
The information was released Saturday by a source from the organisation’s Executive Scretariat.
According to the source, the meeting is also to discuss recommendations from the extraordinary summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on the crisis in Guinea-Bissau, held on May 3, in Dakar, Senegal, without adding further details.
The Conference of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government recommended the renewal of the National Assembly board of Guinea Bissau in order to enable the holding of election of a new president to lead the transition in that country.
