National Police's "Vila Azul" housing project

Luanda – A total of 150 medium and low-income houses were formally delivered to National Police officers Wednesday in Luanda, under a project called "Vila-Azul", Angop learned.

 
The ceremony was presided over by the National Police commander general, Ambrósio de Lemos.

 
The lot of houses formally delivered includes 94 medium and 77 low cost homes under the project of the National Police Social Welfare Scheme.


Meanwhile, more than 250 houses have so far delivered under the same programme.

 
The ceremony included the inauguration of a creche for 60 children by the deputy minister of Interior for Civil Protection and Fire Services, Eugénio Laborinho.

 
Speaking to Angop, National Police commander, Ambrósio de Lemos, said the ceremony represents the implementation of social projects, adding the creation of social conditions for the police staff is one of the top priorities of the organ.
