Luanda - The deputy Home Affairs minister, Eugenio Laborinho, Wednesday in Luanda laid the foundation stone for the construction of 652 low-income houses for staff of the National Police in Zango locality, Viana district.


The construction of the houses will start this year and is expected to cover an area of 30 hectares, under the National Police Staff Social Fund Scheme (CPPPN).


After laying the foundation, the deputy minister of Interior, who was accompanied by the general commander of the National Police, Ambrósio de Lemos, and higher ranking officers of the corporation, visited the T3 home model site.


The project also envisages the construction of four storey buildings, school, medical centre, sports and other facilities.


The construction work will be in charge of a Chinese company. The ceremony was witnessed by high ranking officers of the National Po
