Luanda - Angola's Vice-president, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, returned on Wednesday evening to Luanda, after attending in Portugal the opening ceremony of the headquarters of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP).
During his arrival at Luanda’s “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport, the Vice-president was welcomed by the Ministers of Welfare and Transports, João Baptista Kussumua and Augusto da Silva Tomás, respectively, as well as the Vice governor of Luanda, Graciano Domingos, among other individualities.
In Lisbon city in Portugal, the Vice-president represented the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, at the aforementioned ceremony.
During his stay in Portugal, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos opened the 7th extraordinary meeting of CPLP cabinet council.
CPLP was established on 17 July in 1996 and comprises Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and Sao Tome and Principe.
