President gets farewell greetings from Cuban ambassador

Luanda - The Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos, Wednesday in Luanda received farewell greetings from the Cuban ambassador to Angola, Pedro Ross Leal, at the end of his five-year mission in the Southern African country.


Pedro Ross Leal said that was not farewell, but “goodbye or see you later”, for to make sure that his “heart and mind” will always be linked to the Angolan people, who treated him so generously.


“I leave this country with a feeling of sadness and joy”, stressing that goodbye is “a little complicated”, however, “we will continue together until the final victory”.


He said that he had shared with these people the days leading to national independence, its consolidation, among other deeds, said the Caribbean country’s ambassador, who also highlighted the “high level” of cooperation between the two countries.
